Hey all!

I am a 22 year old girl and in final year of university. The story I am going to share with you is true experience of mine.

From school days only I was fat. I had almost 14-15 kgs extra then the optimal weight for my height. I was always a thing be to laughed at among my school mates. I was called with many names (other then my actual name) like fatso, 'moti' (a Hindi noun for fat girl), potato and many more.

They (my school friends) all knew me from so long but still made fun of me and things got even worse when I moved to college. I tried avoiding them but avoiding is not as easy as it sounds. I started hating my college and started avoiding college as much as I could but I had to meet the minimum attendance status as well.

Those were the most difficult days of my life. I have only one friend who never used to make fun of me and later I found out that he himself had suffered the same problem and that’s the reason he understood my problem so well. He was the same guy who asked me to share my experience with you.

He talked with me and after a detailed conversation he told me that I was worried for just nothing. He guided me to enroll with some fitness program and to follow the guided diet plan and ensured me that those 15 kgs are not a big deal at all to overcome with.

But there was no fitness centre near my colony and my parents were orthodox enough at that time to refuse me to go some distant gym or health club. I told this problem as well to my friend and he told me that joining health club is not the only solution available.

He suggested me to start with some very simple exercises like jogging, skipping, cycling and stepping.

He told me not to take oil, potato, rice and asked me to avoid sugar, cold drinks and junk food as much as I can, though he suggested me not to go for crash dieting. He told me to eat stomach full but just to avoid things which have extra calories.

He also told me that whatever exercise I was going to do should be increased slowly. I started with jogging around 200 metres in the colony park and cycling around 1 km and 50 skips and I also avoided the mentioned food as much as I could.

Though the schedule was very painful to follow in the very beginning with all those things cause it was never easy to leave bad early morning for exercises, to avoid your favorite food but he had told me to follow the routine just for 2-3 weeks and assured me that later on this routine will follow me.

I kept doing all exercises and controlled my diet and just after 2 weeks I started receiving complements.

The first complement was of my mother who told me that I was looking better the reason she was not sure for that she later found out after 4 weeks when she told me that I had certainly lost some kgs.

All those who used to make fun of me by calling me with different names were now absolutely quiet. All the good things which I used to miss like going for swimming and skin fit clothes are now in my favorite list.

Though I was never interesting in getting involved with anyone but to be true I also wanted to be proposed by some guy like most of my friends keep on getting every now and then. The very first proposal I got after following the schedule for the 9 weeks in form of the coolest guy of the college.

I was on the eleventh cloud at that time.

Hey friends! If you are also suffering from the same problem as me please believe me it’s the most useless thing to be worried about. If I can lost those extra kgs why can’t you?

Just try and use full of your will power for the first 2-3 weeks and then you won’t feel any pain to follow the schedule.
